You should never dropship products that do not meet American quality standards. People in the US have a high disposable income. The median household income between 2017 and 2021 was $69,021 [2]. They can afford quality.  

Look for US dropship suppliers who offer high-quality products that can compete with the original brand. You want products that are affordable yet reliable.  

2. Shipping

Amazon changed the way Americans expect their shipped packages. The company can send packages in as short as two days for free. 

Why am I saying this? Knowing that you are competing with this level of service is essential. It would help if you looked for dropship suppliers who can ship quickly.

There is no way to compete against Amazon. What you can do is find suppliers who offer affordable shipping rates. 

3. Profitability

The cost of goods in the US is expensive. However, this expense provides quality. Americans are willing to pay high, provided they also get reliable products. 

Here is the problem: most high-quality goods are also expensive. As such, they leave you with a small profit margin.

Dropship suppliers are dime-a-dozen. There are thousands of them; many are dropshipping suppliers for Amazon sellers. You may come across fraudulent ones. Read my tips below to avoid any setbacks. 

1. Always buy the item 

You do not have to buy all the items you want to sell in your online store. However, you must make it a point to buy at least one or two products from the same supplier.
